Sharon Williams, CATS Technical Manager has plucked up the courage and has signed up to do a Nepal Langtang Trek in October 2018 to help raise money for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.
Sharon’s aim is to raise £3,000.00 (or more) and to enjoy the experience that she is going to endure, this is a once in a lifetime experience.
Whilst Sharon is out in Nepal she will be undertaking project work to helped rebuild the village in Nuwakot. This is after she has completed the trek!
The charity Sharon has chosen is The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity as they have helped her and her family through some difficult times in 2017 and continue to help them through 2018.
The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity raises money solely to support The Royal Marsden a world-leading cancer centre. They ensure nurses, doctors and research teams can provide the very best care and develop life-saving treatments, which are used across the UK and around the world.
From funding state-of-the-art equipment and ground-breaking research, to creating the very best patient environments, they will never stop looking for ways to improve the lives of people affected by cancer.
